Tracey Cain

Tracey Cain is the CEO of H/Advisors APA – a business she started in 1996 and which recently became part of a global network of like-minded public affairs firms.

Tracey’s specialty is communications strategy development and advisory roles with Boards and CEOs – applying 35 years of experience in a range of media and communications roles.

On the political front, she worked as a journalist in both the NSW and Federal Parliamentary Press Galleries, as a Ministerial media adviser in Australia, and also in the White House during the 1996 Presidential Elections.

She has worked in-house as a Director of Communications/Media for a leading Australian corporate law firm offering advice to the firm and its clients, and later served as the founding CEO of a health and aged care foundation.

Her expertise is in reputation risk and reputation management, particularly in the education and training, legal and litigation, not-for-profit and social policy sectors.

Tracey is a Director of the Association of Independent Schools of NSW (since 2017) and Knox Grammar School (since 2016).

In 1996, she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship and from 2005 until 2015 she served as a Director of The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Masters of Public Affairs.
